The Cam-CAN project uses a unique and powerful approach which integrates across multiple domains including epidemiology, cognitive psychology, and neuroimaging. This strategy involves the collaboration of multiple research teams to examine key research questions about lifelong health and development. Growing older involves dramatic changes to all aspects of our lives, but one of the most important concerns is our mental, or “cognitive” health. This research focuses on the cognitive abilities that enable us to function in the world, including memory, attention, emotion, language, and action.
